Nixon, Meixel, and Johnson All Have Career Nights in Win

BLOOMSBURG - Bre Nixon and Kaydance Meixel each scored career-highs and Kallee Johnson nearly posted a triple-double as the St. John Neumann girls varsity basketball team came away with a 62-33 win over CMVT on Wednesday night.

Nixon totaled 22 points, nine rebounds, six steals and four assists, while Meixel scored a career-best 18 points, including 12 in the second half. Johnson stuffed the stat sheet, going for a career-high 14 points, 13 rebounds, nine blocks, four assists, and three steals to help lead the Knights to their second win in the last three games.

The Knights get back into action on Saturday, Jan. 24, when they host Bucktail. Varsity tips at 6 p.m.
