MILLVILLE - Daiton Thompson scored a career-high in points for the second time in a week, as the St. John Neumann boys varsity basketball team downed Millville, 66-55 on Wednesday night. Thompson set his career-best with 33 points, including 19 in the second half, leading the Knights (7-6) to their fourth straight win. Legend Dillard added 17 points and Jahki Brister posted 11 as Neumann overcame a five-point second-quarter deficit.
The Knights get back into action on Saturday, Jan. 17, when they host Sullivan County (12-2) in a Mid-Penn showdown. Junior varsity tips at 6 p.m. with varsity to follow.
